Golfing With A Baby

Yes! You can do it! And it can be fun!

The biggest thing to think through is how you’ll carry your baby around the course.
Before she developed head control we strapped her car seat onto the golf cart seat with these straps. They were incredibly sturdy and easy to use. Our baby was safe and secure, was able to look around, and able to relax enough to take a nap!
Straps For Infant Car Seat
Once she developed head and core control, we switched to this travel chair! It comes with its own straps so it’s secure, has a built in seat belt, and fits perfectly between my husband and I in the golf cart. It even has a small tray you could attach toys or food to.
Baby Golf Chair
If you’re golfing during your babies nap time, you’ll need something to compliment the travel chair! We have used the following two carriers based on support and breathability.

Once you’ve nailed down how your baby will cruise around the course, you may want to consider how to keep them cool on those hot summer days! We utilized a small golf towel, a portable fan, and neck chiller.Golf towel - our top solution to help keep our babies temp regulated as it was incredibly easy to dip a portion of it in water and tab it on her neck, chest, wrists and feet! The golf towel fabric handles the water well and will be a great keep sale for her one day.
Baby Golf Towel
Fan - we opted for a more robust and hardy version. It’s a tad more expensive but the battery lasts longer and it has a much higher fan speed and air flow.
Robi Clip Fan
Neck ice pack - these came in handy too! Loved the pack of three as two could be sitting on ice while you use one! They do melt and have some water condensation but it’s minimal.Golf Outfit
